It is with great respect that we set out to write this letter. We are humbled by the weight of your decision, and we hope you find comfort and peace in the choices ahead, whatever your decision may be. We are deeply honored to be considered as parents for your child and are moved by the great thought you are putting into your decision.
We have always wanted to be parents and are so excited to potentially raise a child!
That does not mean, however, that the weight of this is lost on us. We know that adoption will always be a part of our child’s story, and we will live to honor that in any way that we can, holding space for both the joy and the loss.
As parents, we will make sure the child we welcome home has family, friends, love, and every opportunity to succeed, and we cannot wait to see what that looks like for the unique little one we get to love.
