Hello, and so nice to meet you. We are Courtney & Brandyn, writing to you from our home in Maryland.
We moved here in 2019, for Brandyn’s career, from Nashville, TN where we met and got married, though
we’re both originally from California. We met in 2013, and then got married in 2018; first we had personal goals that we wanted to achieve to help us be the parents and family we wanted to be including financial stability.
Us in a Nutshell
We live in Maryland and though we knew nothing about this area before we moved here, we’ve really enjoyed so many parts of our life here. Where we live we’re about 20 minutes from downtown Baltimore and 45 from Washington DC.
When Courtney was 12 years old, she declared to her mother she wanted to adopt someday and ever since that day it’s been part fo whgat she wanted in her life.
There are a lot of reasons why being an adoptive mom has been a part of Courtney’s values and when we met, we agreed that we 1) would absolutely build a family 2) both wanted to be adoptive parents. This has been on our road-map for a long time and we’re both here now with the resources and ability to open this door.

We promise we will love and care for this child throughout every chapter of their life. Our love is patient and kind and generous. Our home is full of music, community, and dogs and laughter. We are so excited to be at a point in our life where we can acknowledge the work of being parents with excitement in our hearts. We both have waited a long time to get to this chapter where we knew that even the stress and work would be things of great joy
